PRIOR STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2007-2008 Sunday School
Sunday School students that attended for the 2006-2007 year are already preregistered if you have confirmed your information in person or via e-mail. Contact the Church office if you have any questions or to confirm your information.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2007-2008 Sunday School
For new students or children that are 3 years old by Sept 1, you may enroll in Sunday School by contacting the Church Office at (630) 851- 6106 or email Christine Drechsler.

The St. Athanasios Sunday School program begins with Preschool (age 3), and continues through Senior year of High School. This important education occurs by working in partnership with our Parish families during this 15 year journey. We strive to reach our children’s minds and hearts –offering theological and practical education about our Faith, and also leading their hearts to the love of Christ by teaching and example. Our ultimate goal is to lead them to love Christ, His Church, and each other, so that our Faith becomes a real and foundational component of their everyday lives.

SUNDAY SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to:

Educate the children of our community in the teachings of the Orthodox Faith
Lead their hearts closer to Christ --- to love Christ and His Church.
Partner with families - provide tools, information, and encouragement to reinforce the Sunday School teachings everyday
To ultimately make our Love and Faith in Jesus Christ a lasting foundational component of the children’s everyday life.
